Nov. 29th: SALVATION ARMY BELLS WILL SOON BE RINGING!
This year we’ll again be seeking NPC volunteers to spend a short 2-hour shift ringing a bell to encourage passers-by to drop a cash contribution into the traditional red kettle. A few hours spent at a kettle location can make a very big difference to a local family in need. As usual, we’ll have volunteer locations around the community, including our new location at the Giant Eagle Market District Supermarket.
Current plans are for our first date to be Saturday, November 29. Dates will then be available on the first three Fridays and Saturdays in December. Please contact Roger Schneider to volunteer. Your help will be most appreciated. As the Salvation Army motto states, you'll be "Doing the Most Good"!!
