Wedding Fees

The fees for all services, except where noted, should be given to the church Office Manager ONE MONTH prior to the Wedding Service.


Members of Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church

  • Members of Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church are requested to pay a Janitorial fee of $60.
  • A couple's discretion is used for an appreciation gift for the Pastor performing your wedding service. Suggested appreciation gift is $200.
  • A fee of $200 is to be provided to the Organist. The Organist fee covers a consultation, the wedding rehearsal and the Wedding Service.
  • The organist fee is increased if there is a soloist and that fee is decided on an individual basis as to how much extra work and rehearsing is required.
  • A fee of $100 is required for the Wedding Coordinator


Non-Members

  •  An honorarium of $720 should be given to the church Office Manager ONE MONTH prior to the Wedding Service. This honorarium includes janitorial services, rental of the facilities, and services of the Pastor and the Organist.
  • The honorarium is reduced by $100 when a guest Pastor performs the service.
  • The honorarium is reduced by $100 when the services of an Organist are not used.
  • A separate check of $200 must be given to the church Office Manager ONE MONTH prior to the ceremony as a deposit. This $200 check will be returned the week following the service if no additional costs are incurred by Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church as a result of the Ceremony.
     

Members and Non-Members

  • The cost for the candles used in the brass candelabras and on the pews is $60.
  • The soloist/instrumentalists fees are determined by those individuals and should be paid directly to those individuals. The Organist will receive an additional fee from the couple for services where soloists or instrumentalists are used. 
  • A fee of $50 is required for the audio recording of your Wedding Service and the monitoring of the sound during the rehearsal and Wedding Service.
  • The sound technician fee should be paid directly to the technician, preferably at the rehearsal.
